Merle W. Farnham of Port Crane, 80, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015. He was predeceased by his parents, George & Ada, (Gumaer) Farnham; wife, Jean Marie Farnham; and brothers, Richard and Edward Farnham. Merle is survived by his children, Kim Allen & Karen Farnham, Cindy Farnham Bianco, Brad & Lynette Farnham, Terri Farnham and George (& friend, Jill) Farnham; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; sisters and brother, Jean Hillis, Florence & Robert Young, James & Cinda Farnham and Evelyn & Robert Earl; also many nieces and nephews. Merle was a graduate of Greene Central Schools where he was known as an outstanding wrestler, also a graduate of Alfred State. He retired after many years as a self-employed truck driver. Merle will be dearly missed by many. A Celebration of his life will take place on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the KAA, Kattelville Athletic Assoc. 2345 NY Rte. 12 Chenango Forks, NY 13746.
