Nancy A. Bolender

Nancy Ann Bolender, 84, of Chenango Bridge, died peacefully in her home on November 7, 2014. She was predeceased by her husband, Homer W. Bolender Jr.; brother, Dr. Walter S. Barker Jr.; and son-in-law, Ronald J. Utter Sr. She is survived by her loving family; son, Peter and Marilena Bolender; daughter, Patricia Bolender Utter and Russ Archer; son, John and Stacie Bolender; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Greg and Shanon Guditis, Timothy and Christina Bolender, Cristina and Nate Phelps, Gabriella Bolender and Jason Raimo, Nicole and David Griffin, RJ and Allison Utter, Brian and Janelle Utter, Heather and Brandon Wray; eight great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren on the way; sister-in-law, Ann Barker; and several nieces, nephews and many close friends. Nancy was an active member of St. Mark's Church in Chenango Bridge and was a member of the Kattelville Seniors Association. She enjoyed spending summers for the last 53 years at her summer home, a place she loved at Petonia Lake in Greene, NY. The family will recieve friends Tuesday, November 11, from 3:30-7:00 pm at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson NY. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 10:00 at St. Mark's Church, Chenango Bridge. Burial will be in Sylvan Lawn Cemetery, Greene, NY.
