Orrin F. Christian, 95, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, May 13, 2021. He was predeceased by his wife Mildred Christian, his grandson Kevin Christian; brother Milt Christian; 5 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law. He is survived by his 6 children Carol (Don) Colwell, Lois (Rick) Bales, Sandra Shepherd, Mark Christian, James Christian, Brenda (Curt) Underwood; 15 grandchildren 32 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister Arlene Tingley; brother-in-law H. James (Diane) Arnold; sisters-in-law Audrey Christian Jewel, Mary Dahn, Elsa (Harvey) McFall and Mona Arnold; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Orrin was a WWII US Navy Veteran. He was the retired minister of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Martville, NY. He loved the Lord God and was a faithful humble servant to the end.
The family will receive friends at the Calvary Baptist Tabernacle Church, 729 Main Street, Vestal, NY 13850, on Monday, May 24, 2021 from 11am-12pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 12pm. Burial will be in the Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
