Philip B. Whitney, 68, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 29, 2022. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Marie Whitney, brotherin-law Alexander Nytch, nieces Darlene & Tracy Bellinger and Tiffany Lopardo and nephew Kendall Boyd. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Debbie Whitney, daughter & son-in-law Stephanie & Ron Furch and their children Rachel, Zach & Morgan of Castle Creek, NY; daughter Jackie Whitney and her children Bronx & Andre Gibson of Chenango Forks, NY; his canine sidekick Rocky; his siblings Sherril & Max Whitney, Frank & Lynn Whitney, Mazie & Chuck Willis, Lance & Mary Whitney, Kathleen Whitney Boyd; sister-in-law JoAnne Nytch and companion William Kroll sister-in-law Barbara & Bill Graham and brother-in-law James Nytch and significant other Lorraine Curtin; many

nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

He loved going to watch his grandchildren's school and sporting events, he was so proud of and loved each and every one of them beyond words. He also loved hunting, fishing, the Yankees and politics. He was a teamster Local 693 working for USF Red Star until his retirement in 2005. Phil was a quiet private man in life and death. We will all cherish our memories of him. In keeping with Phil’s wishes there will be no funeral services
