Robert L. Atwell, 93, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. He is predeceased by his parents Samuel Atwell & Vira Eaton and his sister Eleanor Radicchi. He is survived by his daughter Kathy Thorp; son Edward Atwell; several grandchildren, a great granddaughter; a great grandson; many nieces and nephews and his special friends Timothy & Tresie Shedd. Bob was a retired employee of the Town of Windsor Highway Department. He loved woodworking and watching cooking shows.
We would like to send a special thank you to his Lourdes at Home Nurse Jeannie Orzell and his aides Terry Kuhr and Amanda Whitehill for the love and care he received. The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 10-11am. A Memorial Service will follow at 11am. Burial will be in the Cascade Valley Cemetery at the convenience of the family in the spring.
