Robert A. Fisher

Robert Allan Fisher, 65, of Venice, FL formerly of Binghamton, NY passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his side. Robert was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 15, 1948. He graduated from Chenango Forks High School Class of ‘66 where he met his high school sweetheart and one true love Barbara (Touth), his wife of 44 years. Robert graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelors of Science. He worked for Novartis Pharmaceuticals for 37 years. Robert is predeceased by his father John F. Fisher and sister Ellen M. Fisher. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Touth); their two children Amy and husband Charles Pettinato of Allendale, NJ; and Dr. Keith Fisher, and his wife Kristin of San Antonio, TX. He is also survived by his four beautiful grandchildren who brought him unspeakable joy; Olivia and Annie Pettinato, Ellen Bernadette and Christopher Fisher. He is also survived by his mother Ingeborg M. Fisher of Venice, FL and brother John D. Fisher of Charlton, MA.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1031 Chenango Street, Hillcrest. Family and friends are invited to call at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY Wednesday from 4 – 7 PM The family wishes to express their gratitude to the doctors and nurses of Wilson Memorial Hospital’s Cardiac Care Unit for their exceptional care and compassion.
