Graduating from Chenango Forks High School, Tom was actively involved with the Alumni Reunion Committee, demonstrating his commitment to his roots and community. He was a retired employee of Agway, where he dedicated many years of service.
Tom is survived by his wife, Patricia (Vincent) Nash Jones. He was the proud father of Richard & Marsie Jones, Christopher Jones, and Sarah & Michael DiFabio. His grandchildren, Briana M. Jones, Xander A. Jones, Bella K. Jones, Gabriella D. Jones, Ayden M. DiFabio, and Nathan T. DiFabio, were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. In addition to his immediate family, Tom is survived by several sisters and brothers-in-law, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
A passionate lover of barbershop and country music, Tom dedicated over 40 years to the Southern Tier Barbershop Chorus, where he shared the joy of music with countless others. He especially loved performing with his quartet, including memorable appearances in local productions of The Music Man. He also took great pride in coordinating Singing Valentines each year, a tradition that brought joy to families, friends, and the community. His barbershop family held a special place in his heart.
Tom also treasured simple pleasures—family vacations to Myrtle Beach and the Outer Banks, discovering new diners, and enjoying a good burger (always without cheese). These experiences, shared with family and friends, filled his life with happiness and laughter.
Tom’s legacy is one of family, friends, and music. Everyone who met him loved him, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
