William R. Holbert, 74, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 26, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents Carlton & Iva Holbert, his “wife” Joyce Wilmott, son Rob Wilmott and five siblings.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Patricia & Kevin Ellsworth, BillieJo & Ed Dougher, Lisa & Matt Roser and son Ron Wilmott; ten grandchildren 18 great grandchildren, siblings Debbie, Bonnie, Rick, Jack, Dale and Becky, his best friend and caretaker Sally Spicer, many other special friends and several nieces and nephews. He loved his great danes Buddy and Rex. He enjoyed gardening, raising pigs and showing his car.
He retired from Phillips Foundry, Binghamton PreCast and Buckinghams.
The family will received friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY on Monday December 4, 2023 from 11am-1pm with a funeral service to follow at 1pm. Burial will be in the Chenango Valley Cemetery.
