Carl,
 I was reading the department order today and unfortunately saw your name. I remember you leaving to go to work from your home in Brooklyn as your young neighbor. Years later we meet again, you as a retired firefighter and me as an active firefighter. We had some really good laughs in Bally's gym on Forest Ave. I loved listening to your jokes and talking about cooking.  I can't believe it's maybe 20 years ago. You will be missed. I often thought about you and where you were. My condolences to the Angelo family. Carl was a good man.

I will miss seeing Carl outside as he enjoyed some fresh air and sun. I will miss seeing him play with my dogs and enjoying a friendly conversation. He will be missed and Hayden and I are here for you Martha, whatever you might need.
