Cindy A. Daubel

Cindy A. Daubel, of Port Jefferson Station, NY, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025, at the age of 50. Born on June 10, 1974, Cindy was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.

Beloved wife of nearly 27 years to David Daubel, Cindy was the heart of her family and a fiercely loving mother to Jacob and Madyson Daubel, who were the light of her life. She was the cherished daughter of Steven Cohen and the late Kathleen Cohen, and the adored sister of David Cohen (Jessica Maher). Cindy was also a dear sister-in-law to Edward Daubel (Patty), Ron Daubel (Rita), and Rich Daubel (Tracy).

Cindy embraced life with love and joy. She found peace at the beach, joy in the mountains, and beauty in nature—especially tulips, butterflies, and the birds she loved to feed. She shared countless special moments with her family, whether hiking, basking in the sun, or enjoying simple pleasures at home. Her holiday baking traditions with her daughter Madyson brought warmth to the season, and her passion for couponing—enthusiastically passed down to her son Jacob—was legendary.

Cindy’s generous heart extended to all who knew her. She was a loving niece, aunt, and loyal friend. Her gentle spirit was also shared with her beloved cats, Toby and Cali.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 2–4 PM and 7–9 PM. Prayer service at 7:30 PM. Closing prayer Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 10:30 AM with interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park, 855 Canal Road, Mount Sinai, NY 11766.

Cindy’s love, laughter, and light will be forever remembered by her family and all who were blessed to know her.
