Constance is survived by her son, Alexander W. McDonald and daughter, Mercedes Lee, and was preceded in death by her son, Peter McDonald. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Christopher Ortiz, Alexander McDonald and his wife Gretchen, Skylar McDonald, Mackenzie McDonald Wilkins, Ian McDonald Wilkins and his wife Karin, Shiloh Fulton, and Phoebe Baday. She was also a great-grandmother to Dylin and Haeleigh Ortiz, and Jack and Lara McDonald Wilkins.
An avid reader and a passionate gardener, Constance found great pleasure in the simple things in life. She loved spending time outdoors, whether it was tending to her garden, working on needlepoint projects, or enjoying the serenity of the ocean and the beach.
A visitation for Constance will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. Prayer service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation private.
