Dorothy A. Voyias

Dorothy Ann Voyias passed peacefully surrounded by her family on February 1st, 2026. She was the beloved wife to her husband, Kosmos, for 62 years, the cherished mother of Michael and Christina, and a committed grandmother to Karissa, Samantha, Karley, Chrissy, and Sarah. Dorothy was devoted to her family above all else.

Born in the Bronx, she was raised Irish-Catholic alongside her late sister Margaret. A heritage she was deeply proud of and carried on throughout her life, always insuring a proper St Patrick’s Day celebration was held. She and Kosmos moved to Corona, Queens where they had their two children before making the move out to Long Island.

Dorothy had strong resolve to become successful in life beginning in her early years. She faced adversity head on, always with impeccable style and coordination. Even as her health was challenged over the past few years, she pushed forward without complaint, and with a perfect manicure. She championed her greatest success as being the matriarch of her family - offering warmth, love, and the kindest smile to anyone in her presence.

She is already deeply missed, and her memory will be carried on forever.

Visitation will be held at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, located at 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776, on February 6, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A prayer service will take place at the same venue on February 6, 2026, at 8:00 pm. The committal service will be held at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735, on February 7, 2026, at 11:00 am.
