

A longtime resident of Port Jefferson Station where she raised her eight children with her husband Bernard - she moved at age 86 to an apartment surrounded by lush gardens that she created, a view of the Long Island Sound and blue skies at her daughter Mary’s home in Rocky Point. There, she made new friends with neighbors and created a special bond with youngsters Corrine and Will who would visit often, and her dear friend Lois who shared meals and many positive words and prayers with her.
Eileen is survived by many family members, friends and the countless people helped through her charitable acts.
Surrounded by love and days filled with joy - Eileen will be missed by her children - Kathy, Nancy, Kim, Bernard Jr., Mary, Patricia, Tim and John, their spouses and partners; her grandchildren Jessica, Kate, Beth, Renee, Sean, Hayley, Kodi, Krista, Courtney, Casey, Kristina, Martina, Cole, Robby, Cassidy and Lainee and their partners and spouses; her great grandchildren Jamie, Aiden, Jacob, Benjamin, Maci, Nolan and Carmela; her nieces Helen, Toby, Molly and Sarah and nephew Spike, and goddaughter Linda. She is predeceased by her beloved grandson Keith, granddaughter Kerri, husband Bernard, and her brother Gil and sister-in-law Joy.
Visitation - Sunday, October 22 from 3-9 p.m. to be held at OB Davis Funeral Home, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY.
