It's so difficult to say goodbye to a good friend and such a great guy. You were such a pleasure to talk to. You always kept me up to date with the drama around Deks. I have several fond memories I'll never forget. I've only known you a few years but it seems like a life time. I'll miss you announcing my arrival at the bar. "HEY B O B" or if Lenore was with me "HEY MR. & MRS". You'll be sorely missed my friend. Rest in pease pal. We'll reunite soon enough.

My favorite memory of uncle George was visiting at his shop in port Jeff.  His store was right next to the rocket ship park.  We used to play in the park than visit him in the shop.  He would always give me money.  A buck to by a hot chocolate at the deli. Later when I was in graduate school we had beers at the bar.  I have several pictures that he has given me.  One of a skier that is now going to be the center piece of my new babies room.  You will be missed and never forgotten.  Thanks for the memories.

Dear Laura:

I learned about George's death in the newspaper. I worked with you at Frederic R. Harris in NY.  During that brief time, we would socialize together with our spouses. Even though it was a long time ago, I can still remember George's smile and how much he loved life and how much he loved you!  The days of the "art gallery" have remained in my memory as a cherished moment in time. I am so sorry for your loss and pray that George is at peace.

Uncle George! What a fabulous gentleman you are! You will be missed by so many. I feel very lucky to have known you. George was the kind of man who would always be there when anyone needed anything.  He was a true friend who never spoke unkindly of anyone.  We will miss him very much!

From the moment I met you, you were always the kindest person. Whenever I would spend the night or weekend with Erin - you always made me feel at home right away. Always smiling, cracking jokes, and living life to the fullest.  You were like a second father.  Always asking "How are the boys treatin ya" We will always remember you as enjoying life to the fullest - you may be gone, but you'll never be forgotten.

We've gotten to know George over the years at the gym and always looked forward to his sense of humor and great smile.  Laura and Erin, he spoke of you both so often and so lovingly; our prayers are with you at this time.  George, God Speed, and keep them laughing.

Why is it that all the good ones leave us far too soon? My heartfelt condolences to Ronnie, Jane,Mary,Don,Erin and Laura...wish that I could be there with you all. God's special blessings as you deal with your loss. He is at peace in heaven for sure.

Dek's will never be the same without you there George, especially on Monday's. I am still in shock not wanting to believe you are gone....You are SOOOO going to be missed. Your smiling face, your warm personality, your sense of humor, I just can go on and on....There are just too many things to say..but for now I wish you peace....my friend!!!
