Gerald Nappi

A devoted husband to Katherine Nappi, his beloved wife of 56 years, Gerald was a loving father to Jerry Nappi and Lisa Faita and a cherished father-in-law to Colleen Nappi and Frank Faita. He took immense pride in being a grandfather to Alana and Colin Nappi, and Mia, Adeline, and Benjamin Faita, finding his greatest joy in the time spent with his family.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, he made Coram, NY, his home for over 50 years. A lifelong baseball fan, he endured the heartbreak of the Brooklyn Dodgers leaving his beloved borough but found solace in cheering for the New York Yankees. His loyalty to the New York Jets, however, brought disappointment of a different kind—one all too familiar to those who shared his devotion.

Gerald will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth, humor, and unwavering love for his family will remain in the hearts of those he touched.

A visitation for Gerald will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 5-8 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. Prayer service at 7 PM.
