It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Lea Lizabeth Colucci-Henry, on June 29th, 2025, at the age of 64. She will be missed dearly by her family, friends, and all of those who had the opportunity to meet and to know her. Lea was born on August 25th, 1960, in Jamaica, Queens. She is survived by her beloved husband, Timothy Donovan Henry, whom she married on August 10th, 1985, and she left us mere months before their 40th wedding anniversary. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, survived by her two sons, Timothy Donovan Henry II and Shane Robert Henry, as well as her daughter-in-law Mary Beth Kasda Henry and her three grandchildren, Clara, Tripp and Millie. She is also survived by her four siblings, Peter, Michael, Laura, and Jami along with many nieces and nephews. Lea worked for many years at the Mount Sinai School District as an aide where she loved working with young children. She was devoted to helping her community in many ways throughout her life and that devotion touched the lives of so many families and individuals who were fortunate to experience her love and kindness.
There will be a celebration of Lea’s life hosted by her family on August 23rd from 12-4pm at the Port Jefferson Village Center, 3rd floor Sail Loft and Harbor Cove Room.
