

Louis Michael Gallo, aka Lou, Louie, Coolio, Schmuck, Fagboy or Bear depending on the moment. The son of Josephine and Anthony Gallo and brother to Danny Gallo. Born in the Bronx NY, October 21th 1943. Moved to Selden NY in 1980 with wife Linda Gallo, daughters Dawn and Debbie and son Darren.
Louis was always working or doing something productive. He started as a young man working in the DC9 Painters Union for 43 years. His commitment consisted of commuting 4 hours daily, working a physical job, working overtime, side jobs and yet coming home to take care of his family and home. He loved, supported and helped his family live their best lives.
Lou loved the outdoors, from playing paddle ball and handball at the parks in the Bronx, to hunting and hiking with Charles, Joey, Junior, Tommy and Darren, camping, sleigh riding, bike riding (Tara's Rat Race), gardening, beach runs and vacations. He was usually the life of the party or gatherings.
Lou leaves behind his wife Linda Gallo, married May 8th 1965. His daughters Dawn Gallo and life partner Carol , Debra Dominguez, his grandson Paul Jr, his granddaughter Marissa and son Darren Gallo, his wife Karen. He leaves behind many other family members, in-laws, cousins, and friends!
Above all, he was a proud family man who made it clear to his wife and children he would do anything for them!
Memorial visitation for Lou will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 1-5 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. Prayer service 4 PM.
