Margaret A. Mirabell

She was the beloved wife of 59 years to the late Jack Mirabell, with whom she shared a beautiful partnership and legacy. Margaret was the devoted mother of Janice Meyer (Joe), Richard Mirabell (Catherine), and Steven Mirabell (Marie). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Mary, Caitlin, James, Tara, Molly, Elizabeth, Margaret, and the late Alexandria, as well as the adored great-grandmother of Lucas.

Margaret is also survived by her cherished sisters, Diane, Lenore, Jean, and Nancy, and was predeceased by her dear sister Susan. Her bond with her siblings was a source of joy throughout her life, particularly during their trips to Florida to spend time together at Susan’s home.

Margaret had a deep love for animals and always cherished the companionship of her dogs before moving into Luxor Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was an avid fan of game shows and found comfort in quiet moments at home, but her greatest joy came from time spent with her family and loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 1370 Grundy Avenue, Holbrook, NY. Cremation will be private.

Margaret’s warmth, kindness, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
