Marilyn Rose Veglia

Marilyn was married to the love of her life, Vince, for 51 wonderful years. She was a devoted mother to Adrienne (Dan), Jeff (Jill), and Lauren (John), and a cherished grandmother and loving Nonna to Naima, Rowan, Aiden, and Ethan. Marilyn was also a devoted “mom” to her beloved grandpups, Amity, Brody, and Tad.

Marilyn was deeply devout and faithful, with a tremendous love for her family and friends. She was beautiful, giving, compassionate, talented, pleasant, intelligent, graceful, elegant, fashionable, colorful, and loving.

She found joy in singing, reading, beading and jewelry making, knitting and crocheting, playing mahjong, cooking, walking along the beach, traveling, and creating floral arrangements. Marilyn was a very social person who was loved by everyone she met and was always seen with a warm smile. She also truly loved shopping and took great delight in it.

Visitation will be held at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, located at 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776, on January 19, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at Axis Church, 19 N Country Rd, Port Jefferson, NY 11777, on January 20, 2026, at 10:00 am.

The committal will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 NY-112, Coram, NY 11727, on January 20, 2026, at 11:45 am.
