Brigitte Berry

Brigitte was the beloved wife of 44 years to William, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and cherished memories. She was a loving and devoted mother to Allison Berry and Kristi Berry, and a proud and adoring grandmother to Daphne Nelson and mother-in-law to Adam Nelson. She was also a loving sister to Ute and Petra, and a cherished aunt to Pia, Liane, Sina and Patricia.

Family was the center of Brigitte’s world. She devoted her life to those she loved, always putting family first. The birth of her granddaughter brought her immeasurable joy and deepened her already boundless love—Daphne quickly became her everything.

Brigitte was a homebody at heart who found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She had a deep love for music of all kinds, enjoying artists ranging from Elvis Presley and Tom Jones to Luis Miguel. She also enjoyed creating ceramics and spending time playing the slot machines, hobbies that brought her both relaxation and joy.

Brigitte will be remembered for her warmth, her devotion, and the love she so freely gave to her family and all who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776.

Following the visitation, the family warmly invites all who are present to join them for lite meal and fellowship in the funeral home’s hospitality room. Your presence and support are deeply appreciated during this time.

A committal service and interment of ashes will take place on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 Route 112, Coram, NY 11727.
