Born on November 19, 1921, Mary lived a long and fulfilling life marked by deep love for her family and a joyful appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. A longtime resident of Port Jefferson Station, New York, she was known for her warmth, kindness, and strong spirit.
Mary had a passion for gardening—especially flowers—and found great joy in tending to her blooms. She also loved shopping and traveling, always embracing new experiences and cherishing the memories she made along the way.
She is survived by her sons, Jack and Kermit; her grandchildren, Jeffrey, Chris, Jason, Lyndsey, Kimberley, and Jack Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Jacqueline, Heather, Justin, Sarah, Emily, Matthew, Andrew, Abigail, Dylan, Jaxon, Madelyn, and Delaney; and two great-great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy in her later years.
Mary's legacy lives on through the many lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held on May 7, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, located at 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776.
A prayer service is scheduled for May 8, 2025, at 9:00 am.
The committal service will take place on May 8, 2025, at 11:30 am at The Evergreens Cemetery, located at 1629 Bushwick Ave, New York, NY 11207.
