My  sincere  condolences to the Stiles family. Thank you for sharing the photos of Mike’s beautiful  family and his life well lived.

As I looked through the memories left by others, I am not surprised, Mike will always be remembered as a kind person and excellent athlete who shared his gifts with others. It’s been a long time since we were in high school,  and the last time we spent time together was a shared class at SCCC. I still remember Mike was a regular at 12:30:mass back then.  I hope his faith helped carry him through the difficulties, and that your faith  has supported you and continues to do so.

Mike’s light of care glows strong and will continue to grow as it is shared by those who keep him in their heart.  His love is always with you. I cannot imagine what you’ve went through and what you are going through now, but I keep you all in my prayers.  Sending love to all of you.

I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Michael but I have had many memories with the Moricca family as Michael’s uncle William as we were teammates and best friends! We grew up together in Woodhaven NY and neighbors! Have spent some time with Marion and Delores at there home! I’m so sorry for your loss and at such an young age! RIP Michael 🌷🙏🌷

Sending my condolences to Mike's family and friends. Mike was one of  the nicest guys around when I was attending Port Jeff High School. Whenever I would see Mike in the hallways, he would always say hello and ask how I was doing and what was going on. I also loved talking baseball and the Yankees with him. He will truly be missed.

Sending lots of love and healing to Mike's family.  I worked with Mike for many years at the high school.  He was such a kind man. He always came by my classroom to say hi and ask me about my two daughters.  He would rave about his sons and tell me about their baseball adventures.  Having lost my father at a young age as well, time helps to heal.  When you get sad, think about all the happy memories.  He will be with you always.  

I had the pleasure of knowing Mike for a couple of years and working with him one summer at the Elementary School. We talked about the Baseball Hall Of Fame and his baseball card collection. He lit up talking about it. I really enjoyed our conversations. He will be missed by all who knew him. 🙏🏻❤️

My sincerest and deepest condolences to the family of Mike. Mike was the most personable, friendliest guy. He always knew how to make you smile and would come by to check up and chat with you. I will miss talking sports and debating the Yankees next move with him. Rest peacefully. 

Mike was a staple of ELVHS - his dedication to its students and staff was tangible, and his presence made us feel safe and welcome every day. So sad to hear this news, it is a tragic loss for our community. I send my condolences to his family and wish them well.

My sincere condolences to the family. Mike was the nicest guy. He always had a smile on his face and was always willing to help someone out. We always talked about baseball and Cooperstown.

I am so very sorry to hear about Mike.  He was always a smiling face at the high school.  I remember when I returned to school after having broken my leg, he always stopped by my classroom to see how I was doing and if I needed anything.

He will be missed.

My deepest condolences for your loss. Mike was the nicest guy, and always talked about his family and working in his yard. He was just so very real, kind and unpretentious. He left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him, particularly with the students, especially the Spec. Ed kids to whom he was so kind.  He has been and will be greatly missed. So very sorry and sending love at this very sad time.

My sincere condolences to the entire Stiles family.  Mike was one of the nicest people at Port Jefferson - loved by the staff, students and parents.  He went above me beyond for everyone and was always a positive ray of sunshine.  His loss is heartbreaking  - May he now Rest In Peace.  

I worked with Mike for many many years.   Mike was a Gentleman and the nicest guy you wanted to work with.  Always lending a hand out and a Gentleman. My prayers go out to his wife and sons and his families.    Always in a happy mood at work and glad to have worked with one of the nicest nicest gentleman, Mike Stiles.  You were a fighter Mike and so positive in your treatments and will to live.   To young and to nice to be taken.     Our best Security guard that knew everyone snd every kid and parent in the school.  The kids loved him.  Rest In Peace now my friend    😘
