Though I live a distance from NY, and have not seen Octave for many years, he has always been in my thoughts. I pray that you all are able to continue on with your lives, as I am certain your Dad would want you to do.

"Uncle" Octave was one of the good ones in the family.

He always a big supporter of my entry into his family and I have fond memories of him and his wife at my Manhattan apartment.

Octave could light up a room, but with his humor and his opinions on life, in general.

I am sure he is playing with his grandchild now while his brother looks on.

No words could possibly convey the love our family felt for my Uncle Octave. His leaving leaves a huge hole for us that no one can possibly fill. He was loving, caring and extraordinarily funny. My deepest sympathies to my cousins, Patty Anne, Tommy and Mickey and to their families. He loved you all so much. He will never be forgotten. With all my love, Susan Conforti Ade  and family. Although we did not know your father, we would have wanted to know him. The pictures tell he loved his family and had compassion toward animals.  His physical being may not be present, but your memories are forever...

Michelle - you use to say you watch over Batso like you watch over your Dad, ...now your Dad is watching over you..and Batso is too.

Patricia,Paul,Tommy,Jodi,and Michelle, and Grandkids, My deepest sorrow and love to you all for Dad's passing. Will never forget him. Wonderful, caring man. Goofy at times, but always ready to help anyone who needed it. Thousands of good memories since I was 14 and you allowed me and Barbara into your crazy family.
