

Robert M. Trubia, of Mount Sinai, NY, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025, with his beloved wife by his side. He was 78 years old. Born in Queens, NY, on November 22, 1946, Robert was the devoted husband of Christine for almost 59 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, adventure, and cherished memories.
Robert was a proud father to Christopher (Corrine), Matthew and Donna (Chris), and a devoted grandfather to Danielle and Nicholas. He was also an adored great-grandfather to Justin and Julio. His family was his greatest joy, and they were always his number one priority.
Robert was born to a close-knit family and is survived by his siblings, Richard (Diane), Frances Costello (late Charles), Joseph, Linda Caminiti, and the late Thomas (Donna). He was deeply loved by his extended family and friends.
A man of many passions, Robert had a lifelong love for the New York Yankees, classic cars, and the open water. Over the years, he proudly owned several classic cars, including two Corvettes, and enjoyed boating and playing guitar in his rock and roll band. whenever he could. He and Christine shared many wonderful travels, visiting places such as Hawaii, Italy, Maryland, and attending family reunions, creating memories they cherished forever.
Robert’s legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A visitation for Robert will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2025, from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 4, 2025, at St. Gerard Majella RC Church, 300 Terryville Road, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 Route 112, Coram, NY 11727.
