

Sally Ann Mulderig, a lifelong resident of Long Island and beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on September 18, 1947, in Bay Shore, New York, Sally Ann lived a full and joyful life surrounded by family, friends, and laughter.
She was the daughter of the late George C. Mulderig, Sr., and Catherine Mulderig, and stepdaughter of the late Margaret Mulderig. Sally Ann was predeceased by her brother, James Mulderig (wife Peggy), her sister, Shirley Mulderig, her niece, Dianne, nephew, Keith and her boyfriend, Alan.
Sally Ann is survived by her loving brother, George Mulderig, Jr. (wife Helen), and her cherished nieces and nephews, Georgette Perkins, LouAnn Thayer, Douglas Mulderig, Christopher Mulderig, Mark Mulderig and Scott Mulderig. She was a devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews, a dear niece herself, and a friend to countless others who will forever remember her warmth and humor.
In her later years, Sally Ann resided at Maryhaven, where she was blessed with many friendships and compassionate care. She had a lifelong love of 1960s music—especially Frankie Avalon and Buddy Holly—and found joy in watching Disney movies and visiting Disney parks. Sally adored animals, particularly cats, and fondly reminisced about walking Bobo, the family dog, around the neighborhood.
Those who knew Sally Ann will remember her wry smile, unique sense of humor, and her playful tendency to tell everyone their age. Her laughter and spirit brought light and fun to every gathering.
Visitation will be held at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776, on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Lawrence the Martyr Roman Catholic Church, 240 West Main Street, Sayville, NY 11782, on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 10 AM. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence’s Cemetery, 401 Lakeland Avenue, Sayville, NY 11782.
Sally Ann's family and friends will forever treasure the joy and laughter she brought into their lives. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
