I feel I laughed a whole lot less in the past year that you've been gone. I know someday I'll see you again - wish I was more patient so it could comfort me better than it does. I love you and miss you more than I can ever put into words.

Wow, we can't believe it has been a year. It has been a long and lonely year without you Tommy. You left a huge hole in so many lives. We miss you terribly and Rich is lost without you. There just aren't words to describe the grief. Our only consolation is we will meet again our dear friend. Until we come home, continue to watch over Laura and Meg, they know you are there and it brings them some comfort. Love you more than words can say.

Tommy, I don't know if you realized the impact you had on the lives of those you touched.  You were the role model for a devoted father and showed us all how to use humor to handle whatever life dishes out.  You have given your beautiful daughter the gift of humor and the knowledge that she was, and is, truly loved.  Everyone who spent time with you has a special memory that will bring a smile and make this difficult time a little easier.  You made my family better by being a part of it and your absence leaves an obvious void.  I'll never be able to watch "The Princess Bride" and not hear you quoting our favorite lines.  "Have fun storming the castle."

I tried all week to come up with the right thing to say, but words can not express how much you mean to us.  We will never forget all the fun times, the laughs and one liners.  Your sense of humor lives on in Megan.  In the years to come i'm sure there will not be a gathering where someone doesn't say "Remember when Tommy did this or that".  You will always be the life of the party, and will always be in our hearts.

Tommy, not sure where to start but you will truly be missed. You couldn't be in a room without everyone knowing it (in a good way!) and there will now be that void. I loved being part of your family and enjoyed the time we spent together, whether it was at Hotel Berenzy or on a resort. Always missed but never forgotten.

Tommy was always the life of the party and one of mine and my siblings' best sources of fun. He had a major influence on what I feel is one of the most important piece of our personalities - our sense of humor. He didn't know it at the time, but that contribution is something I feel has and will continue to help us heal. He will never be truly gone as long as the gifts he gave us survive. Wherever he has gone I am sure he is already making it a party...much like he did everywhere he went in life.

I cant imagine life without you. I dont know any other "inlaws" who were as close as our two families. You gave me the brother I never had (including the annoying parts) and a friend that everyone should be lucky to have. My children are blessed to have had UT in their lives and have many memories and lessons learned to take them through life. You have given so much of yourself and have left us with so many good memories and stories to tell. Thank you for being you.  You will be missed.

Tommy, you were always there when someone needed you, you would give the shirt off of your back for someone in need! You were the life of the party anywhere you went. You lived life everyday to the fullest.  Your great spirit and heart will continue to live in everyone who was blessed enough to have you as a part of their life. You will be forever loved and forever missed!! We have a small hill in our backyard and one day, Meg, Brenden and Savannah were going down the slip and slide down the hill, at the bottom of the hill was the fence we shared with the Berenzys. Well, Tommy thought it looked like fun, but slip and slides are not designed for adults or hills, so Tommy flew down the slide and smashed into the fence. Luckily he wasn't hurt. For a long time Rich and I had the nickname of "the neighbors" but it wasn't long before the name changed to "best friends". Tommy, we love you and will miss you. Love Elaine (the neighbor)

Some of my best memories are when Tommy, Laura and Meg lived next door. Tommy could make anything better with his humor and his own way of looking at life. He also had the memory of an elephant, I once tried to sneak out in my robe to get the morning paper, of course Tommy saw me and he never forgot it. He also never forgot anything you ever told him and he was always there to help and comfort me. I miss them as neighbors but someday I will go home to Jesus and I know that once again, Tommy will be my next door neighbor and I look forward to all the teasing because if Tommy is teasing you that means he loves you. Not goodbye my dear dear friend, but until we meet again at home. love you always Elaine (huge Tommy fan)

Ut (uncle tommy) you were the best uncle ever. We had so much fun together. So many memories and none were bad. My favorite was in new york city even though i got scared. Your jokes were funny even the ones that didnt make sense to me.I miss you but you will never be forgotten.

Tommy, you were always the "life of the party."  If we were at a restaurant with you, everyone in the place would know we were having a good time.  Always ready with a quick one liner... we're glad we got to see you in December. We will all miss you.

Tommy, thank you for making one of my oldest and dearest friends happy in her life (most of the time :-) ). I will never forget when we first met all of you and especially the camping trips. Rest in peace my friend.
