Aaron Gerald Blevins, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend passed away December 17, 2011 at the age of 88. He was born January 30, 1923 in Meridian, TX to the late Walter and Dora Hardwick Blevins. He served in the CC’s and Army during WWII and was the founder of Blevins Garage.
He is survived by his daughter, Marjorie Jeanette Keller and husband, Chan of Mobile, AL; son, Aaron Gerald Blevins, Jr. of Port Lavaca; sister, Barbara Husak of Port Lavaca; brothers, Harold and Glen Blevins of Port Lavaca; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marjorie Blevins and brothers, Rufus, Leroy and Larry Joe Blevins.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Freedom House Assembly of God in Port Lavaca. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Freedom House Assembly of God. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Freedom House Assembly of God.
