

Forest G. Priddy, 86, of Port Lavaca passed away December 28, 2010. He was born August 22, 1924 in Long Mott to the late Dave Andrew & Ola Belle Fisher Priddy. He was the former owner of Priddy’s Oyster House in Port Lavaca.
He is survived by his son, Glen Priddy and wife, Brandi of Port Lavaca; daughter, Lisa Priddy of Austin and one grandchild, Paiton Priddy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Fenton Priddy; daughter, Heather Priddy; parents; sisters, Ruby Canion and Beulah Snow and brothers, Jim Priddy and Lester Priddy.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010 at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery with the funeral service to follow at 3 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Port Lavaca, Rev. John Brantley officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers are Herman Fenton, Roy McGrede, Wayne Priddy, Alton Priddy, Forest Canion, James Snow, Henry Carpenter and Mike Shell.
Memorial donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church or Alzheimer’s Association.
