My wife Erika and I met Heath when he was our neighbor in Cotulla. He was in charge of the Gardendale rail yard and I had adjoining property.  He was a great neighbor to live next to and he always talked about his family and nephews and fishing ! If we ever needed anything we knew we could count on him. He was dedicated and really enjoyed his work at the rail yard and I enjoyed having him as a neighbor there also , we worked together to make sure no problems came up. WE WILL NEVER FORGET HIM ! 

In 2015 we bought our house on McCown, little did we know our house came with dear friends who were family.  We continued a tradition of flying the American and Texas flags on the front of our house that was started by Kita and Skip Rutherford. We added the Tarleton State University 
flag.  Heath and our daughter, Kelsi, had attended Tarleton, an eternal bond between them.  Heath would always stop and chat when he took his walks on McCown.  We will miss our Texan friend, Rest In Peace Heath and our prayers go out to his family.

Scott, Kimberly, Hadley and Shilah:

You all have treated me like somebody that is part of your circle in a way that reaches across working relationship.  

Heath had a particular way of radiating a calm kindness in his interactions with me, and I'm certain that he touched many people in that way.

I am sending love to each of you and hopes that you find comfort in each other despite this unimaginable loss.

declares the Lord.

We can rest assured that God is pleased to have Heath back home and we will cherish his memory.
Heath had a kind and gentle spirit and he will be missed!

I just heard about Heath passing away and want you both to know my heart hurts for ya'll.   I  remember when our boys were little and the fun times we had together in Rose Circle at church.  I will be praying for ya'll and your sweet family.   💖🙏✝️

Years ago Heath moved down the street from my parents. Their mutual love for POC and everything fishing cemented their friendship. When my father passed Heath was there for my mother and they became good friends. It gave me great comfort knowing he was close & looking out for mom.  He would take her fishing, she watched his place when he was gone, they looked out for each other. I enjoyed visiting with Heath during my visits. He always had a wonderful smile and a great fishing story to tell.  He was a gentle soul and an all around great man. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Heath's passing. I worked with him at AGCR for a week and we had the best time trying to understand the broken English of the silo operator. Great guy. I have been and will continue to pray for all of you.
