Lynda Geraldine McCown Hunter, age 71, of Seadrift, Texas passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. She was born December 2, 1951 in Port Lavaca, Texas.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Hunter; step-sons, James Dale Hunter and Jonathan Dale Hunter; grandsons, Justin Dean Hunter and Mason Hunter Lucas; sisters, Barbara McCown Levine, Joyce McCown Key, Glynda McCown Sexton, Darlene McCown Cox and Sheralyn McCown Maddux; aunt and uncle, Ronald and Cindy Miller; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Dale Hunter; and parents, Gerald and Joyce McCown.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 6-8pm at Richardson Colonial Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 11am at First Assembly of God Church in Seadrift.
