Ronald James Kasper

It is with a heavy heart we share the passing of our beloved brother, Ronnie. He was a shining light in our lives and left us far too soon. He was born on November 29, 1974, and left us on January 21, 2026.

Ronnie held a special part in our lives. Always happy and lively, singing and dancing and enjoying being a part of the family. After experiencing a tragic accident at the very young age of 24, he left his career and personal life. Ronnie spent the rest of his life bonding with his beloved parents and took on the role of caregiver, moving in with them in the home where he grew up.

Enjoying fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends continued to be his life. There was nothing unusual to hear him screaming out the answers to Wheel of Fortune and always beating the contestants before they answered. He loved special "sisters and one brother weekends" but always threatened it was the last one he would attend. Ronnie was a very compassionate, loving person, always concerned about the well-being of others above his needs and wants.

He truly loved his family, especially his sister Sandra. He looked to all of us for comfort and support but looked to Sandra for companionship and fun.

He will be truly missed.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Evelyn Kasper. He is survived by his sisters, Brenda Gillespie (John), Monica Wilson (Billy), Sheila Fucik (Chris) and Sandra Pollard (Mike); nieces and nephews, Michael, Jessica, Stephanie, Matthew, Brittany, Amber, Brandon, Andrew and Heather; and great nieces and nephew.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 29th, from 6pm-8pm, with rosary beginning at 7pm at Richardson Colonial Funeral Home, 123 Newlin St. Port Lavaca, TX 77979. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Gulf Catholic Church, 415 W Austin St. Port Lavaca, TX 77979 on Friday, January 30th at 10am. Eulogy at 9:45am. Mass will be celebrated by Ft. Tommy Chen. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.
