Ruby Elizabeth Parrish, 93, of Olivia passed away Sunday, July 3 2016. She was born June 27, 1923 in La Ward to the late John and Bertha Sanders Koch. Ruby was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include her sons, Richard Earl Parrish (Diana) and William H. Parrish (Pam) of Olivia; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Parrish, Sr.; two sisters and three brothers.
Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home with Rev. Ruben Castillo officiating. Burial will follow at the Olivia Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Richard Parrish, Jr., Dan Key, Westen Key, Pat Beck, Jr., Brenden Beck and Steven Kopecky.
Memorials may be made to Bayside Community Church or Olivia-Port Alto Fire Department.
