Barbara Ann Kerin

Visitation will be held at the Volusia Memorial Funeral Home in Port Orange, Florida, on December 27th from 4-6 p.m. A funeral mass will follow the next morning at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Port Orange.

Barbara was born in New Britain, CT, on September 15, 1931, to Louise and Mauro Scalise. She attended high school and nursing school also in New Britain. She met her future husband, Richard Kerin, and was married on April 11, 1953, and had three children: Mark who resides in Texas, Tim a resident of New Smyrna Beach, and Jill who lives in Maryland. Barbara is preceded in death by her sister, Marylou Scalise. She is survived by her three children, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Barbara’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Shriners Children’s Hospital.
