Betty Jean Riddell, 96, of Ormond Beach, FL died at home January 30, 2022 surrounded by family. She was born May 6, 1925 in Derry, PA to the late Lloyd and Dorothy Sindorf. She was preceded in death by husband James R. Riddell Sr.; daughter Carol and son Jeffrey; sisters Ruth, Grace, Dorothy, Marion and Jessie and brothers Bob and Bill. She is survived by children James R. Riddell Jr, John Riddell and Joy (Riddell) Dill, 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren as well as her brothers Richard (Bud) and Paul. Jean was a loving wife and devoted, loving mother. Before retirement she worked for several years assisting in the management of 2 motels in Daytona Beach, FL. Previously she worked as a cook at Westminster College for 9 years enabling her children to go to college.
