

Carol Riffey, 82, of Port Orange, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025. She was born in Vincennes, Indiana on January 22, 1943 to Helen (Smith, Williams) Cornelius and Harvey Williams.
She graduated from Washington High School in 1961. She worked as a housekeeper, doctor's assistant, realtor for Century 21, and alongside her husband as EMT for the Washington Ambulance Service.
In 2003, she and her husband moved to Port Orange, Florida where she enjoyed community activities, visiting the beach, going out to eat and her Tuesday ladies night card group. She also enjoyed bowling, gardening, camping, traveling and decorating for Christmas.
She married Kirby Riffey on March 26, 1962 and had two children, Michelle and Troy.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Michelle Riffey LaRocca (Peter) of Port Orange, Florida with their children Antonia and Joseph. Also survived by son Troy Riffey (Angie) of Terre Haute, Indiana with their son Noah. She is also survived by two brothers, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and two brothers.
