

She was predeceased by her parents and her siblings: Cary V. Hall Jr., Burniffe B. Hall, and Dotty D. Dunnevant.
Caroline is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Wilson Evans Kemp; their three children, Evans Kemp Jr. (Jenny), Scott Kemp (Sabine), and Ann K. Steilberg (Matthew); seven grandchildren, Jonas Wood, Lily Wood, Cole Wood, Alexx K. Ross (Tony), Robert Steilberg, Jackson Steilberg, and Lizzie Steilberg; and one cherished great-granddaughter, Blake Ross. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their families, all of whom meant so much to her.
A woman of quiet strength and abiding faith, Caroline lived a life devoted to her family, her church, and her community. She had a kind and generous spirit, always quick to offer encouragement, support, and a listening ear.
After retiring, Caroline and Wilson moved to Port Orange, Florida, where they became dedicated members of Port Orange Presbyterian Church. Caroline was ordained as both a deacon and an elder, roles she embraced with humility and deep commitment. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she found immense joy in worship, fellowship, and serving others.
Caroline will be remembered for her warmth, grace, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones. Her legacy of faith, kindness, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A Celebration of Caroline’s Life will be held at Port Orange Presbyterian Church on August 30 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations in her memory to Port Orange Presbyterian Church or a charity of your choice.
