Craig Eugene Eastman

He is survived by his son, Chadwick Eric Eastman, of Cragford, Alabama; his mother, Virginia Liz Overton, of Port Orange, Florida; and his former wife, Gloria Hamze, Fort Lauderdale, Fl. He is preceded in death by his father, Caroll Eugene Eastman of Daytona Beach, FL. He is also survived by his close friend Sherry McCandless of Fort Lauderdale, Fl and his beloved cat “Princess Chloe”.

Craig was born April 16, 1966, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and attended school in Pompano Beach where he grew up. He was an elevator mechanic by profession and was a member of International Union of Elevator Contractors, Local 71, Miami, Fl. He also worked for a short time for the City of Hollywood, Fl and as a security guard before moving to Port Orange, Fl.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017, graveside at Volusia Memorial Park, 550 North Nova Road, Ormond Beach, Fl with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Craig's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Human Society of the United States or the local animal shelter of your choice.
