Daniel A. Beaumont

Daniel A. Beaumont, age 73, of Port Orange, FL passed away peacefully on November 13, 2014 at Indigo Palms in Daytona Beach, FL surrounded by his family. He was born in Lincoln Park, MI to the late Joseph A. Beaumont and Cecilia G. (O'Meara) Beaumont, the 5th of 7 siblings. Dan was a loving husband of 47 years to Patricia Adele (O'Donnell) Beaumont. He was a devoted father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend. Dan retired from Ford Motor Company after 34 years of service. Dan & Pat loved the Florida weather and ocean, so they relocated from Michigan to Port Orange, FL in 2001. Dan was a member of the Port Orange Street Rods and the Port Orange Horseshoe Club. He is known for his warm personality, and wonderful sense of humor in everything. He never met a stranger and was a friend to all. Survivors include his wife Patricia, daughter Trisha Rutledge (Gary), son Brett Beaumont (Carissa), brother-in-law Ron O'Donnell (Karen), sisters Edna Banick, Mary Stitt, Yvonne Beaumont, brother Frank Beaumont, granddaughter Madisyn Rutledge, and many nieces & nephews. Dan was predeceased by two brothers, Al & Bill Beaumont. A special thank you to Indigo Palms and Vitas Hospice for their loving care. A memorial service will be held at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home at 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 378 Center Pointe Circle, #1280, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701.
