Dolores A. Vitullo, a perpetual social butterfly always greeting people with a smile, passed away at home in Port Orange early the morning of February 17, 2025 at the age of 83. She was surrounded by her daughters, Mary Jane Norberto and Kathleen Beales, as well as her son William Beales. A strong-willed, feisty woman, Dolores lived life unapologetically on her own terms. Born in New York, NY, Dolores grew up in Bellerose, Queens and graduated from Kings County School of Nursing earning her R.N. She was a dedicated nurse for 38 years both to her patients and her community. A proud pilot, earning her private pilot's license at 50 she successfully completed her first solo to the Florida Keys in 1992. She was an active member of the 99's and Women of Wings. Preceded in death by her parents, brother, oldest son, and husbands, she is survived by her 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and beloved extended family.
Memorial Service on Friday, February 21 at 8:30am at Our Lady of Hope, 4675 Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange FL 32129. Celebration of Life at Spruce Creek Country Club at 11:00am.
