Ethel V. Young

Ethel Virginia Young of Daytona Beach, Fl passed away Tuesday, May 7th, 2013 at Indigo Mannor Nursing Home. She was a loving wife to the late Porter for nearly 50 years, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Ethel will dearly be missed by her son, Dennis and hiswife Peggy, her grandson Brandon and hiswife Tammy and her three great grandsons, Zachary, Dylan an Dalton. uneral services will be at 4:00pm on Saturday May 11, 2013 at Volusia Memrial Funeral Home 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd. Port Orange. The family will receive friends from 3:00pm until service time.

It's been a very sad day in our house! Brandon's grandmother peacefully passed away this morning. She has been sick for quite some time. The spiritual side of us is rejoicing that she has been reunited with loved ones in heaven, but the physical side is extremely sad that we will not see her smiling face anymore. Telling the boys was the worst thing I've had to do as a parent. They all loved Granny SO much and are having a hard time. We sat and shared stories about her tonight and the thing that will get us through is our faith in knowing that she is in a better place, pain free, dancing in the streets of heaven. Thank you for all of the support from our friends and family! If you see the boys in the coming days, hug them a little tighter! They are going to need it. :)
