Born October 19, 1934 in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of the late George Ronald Wright and the late Maddie Blalock Wright.
She was a Juvenile Intake Officer for the Department of Corrections.
Family members include three granddaughters, Kim Braswell, Amanda Hightower and Samantha Beusse; and one grandson, Chris Bennett.
Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Bryan Bennett; daughters Debra Faye Williams and Pamela Olivia Bennett; a son, Thomas Ronald “Tom” Bennett; and a grandson, Bryan Stowers.
The family will receive friends at the mortuary from 10am – 11am on Saturday, July 30, 2022.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock Saturday, July 30, 2022 from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary, with the Rev. Andy Childs and Eric Braswell officiating.
Burial will follow at Roselane Cemetery.
