Joyce T. Lind

Originally from Auburn, New York, Joyce and her husband, Major General Martin E. Lind, Jr., lived in Port Orange, Florida and Old Forge, New York. Joyce and Marty were lovingly married for 60 years. Joyce cared for Marty for the past few years as a devoted and caring wife to her husband as his health failed. Joyce loved to garden and enjoyed many friendships from their home in Spruce Creek, FL, and summer home on Fourth Lake, NY. She and Marty enjoyed golf, travelling, boating, reading, and spending time with family. Joyce is survived by her brother, Rod Kent of Sarasota and her three sons, Roger Lind (Margy), Ronald Lind (Kathy), and Scott Lind (Denise), six grandchildren, Taylor Lind Mitchell, Roger Lind, Connor Lind, Alec Lind, Stephanie Lind, and Nicole Lind, and her great-grandchild, Maggie Mitchell.

Joyce will be interred with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
