

She married Tony Sever on October 11, 2003, at Holy Trinity Church, Poughkeepsie, NY. Judi was preceded in death by her parents, Chester J. Czach and Genevieve Lillian Sarvis. She is survived by her husband, Anthony Sever; brother, Richard Czach (Sandra); children, Candace Tangredi, Stephen (Cynthia) Griffiths, and David (Mary) Griffiths; Nephew, Christopher Czach. Grandchildren: Ashley (Jon) Ray, Jennifer (Mavina) Lim, Amanda, Ryan, Aimee Griffiths, Ian and Ana Phillips; and great-grandchildren, Colten Ray, Ariella, Melody, and Jade Lim.
Her many hobbies throughout her life included stock car racing, photography, sewing, knitting, crocheting, painting, horseback riding, tending to their small farm, camping, hiking, biking, windsurfing, kayaking, golf, beading, skiing, and playing the piano, as well as tending to her many orchids.
Judi loved to travel, taking her RV to places like Canada and the Western US, including a three-week trip to volunteer with her husband at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. She also volunteered at the Speedway at Daytona Beach, served with the Daytona Beach Citizens on Patrol, and was a hospice volunteer with her beloved Cocoa in the Pet Partners Program at Florida Hospital. Judi was also a member of the Red Hat Society and numerous wine tasting groups in New York and Florida, including the local Sunday Sommelier chapter in Daytona Beach.
She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and loved chatting with her great-grandchildren on her Portal.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 8:30 am on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 4675 Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange FL 32129. Livestream will be available on Youtube for those unable to attend.
