Margery Elizabeth (nee Ryan) Doolittle, 97, formerly of Pompano Beach FL, passed away December 29, 2021, in Port Orange FL. Margery loved cats, volunteering with animal shelters and the Telephone Pioneers, going to the beach, and spending time with family. She was a strong, independent, loving woman and a wonderful role model for her children, who she raised alone. Margery is with the Lord in Heaven and at peace; she is with her parents and many siblings. Margery was the last surviving child of Michael Vincent Ryan and Alma Mary (nee Gerdon) Ryan. She is survived by her three children, son James R. Doolittle, daughters Ann Doolittle Ziegler and Joan C. Doolittle, son-in-law Michael Ziegler, and granddaughter Michelle Ziegler. She will be missed dearly, but our wonderful memories of her will always bring us joy. Private services will be held at the discretion of the family.
