Marjorie Ellen Baxter Cook, passed away at home, on August 17, 2012. She was born in Folkestone, England in 1928. She immigrated to the U.S.A. in 1966 and was employed by West Volusia Memorial Hospital, Deland from 1972 to 1990. She was retired to Summer Trees, Port Orange and was affiliated with the Embroiderer's Guild of America, Friends of Port Orange Library and P.O.R.T. Inc Travel Club for many years. Survivors include two brothers, Stanley (Sam) Baxter and Robert Baxter and their families all in England; four children, Caroline of Pensacola, Christopher a traveling missionary, Jacqueline of Gainesville and Richard of Winter Springs; four grand children, Valerie, Amanda, Emily and Jack Derek; and two great grandchildren, Cody and Cheyenne. Marjorie was predeceased by Derek Francis Cook in 2000 after 44 years of marriage. According to her wishes services will be private.
