Michael Castanaro, 78, of Port Orange, passed away July 22, 2013. Michael was born on May 18, 1935 in Scranton, PA son of Rose and Anthony Castanaro. A member of the plumbing and pipefitters union, Michael worked many years as a plumber in the Scranton, PA area. After moving to Port Orange 16 years ago he continued working and was known to many as the “Village Plumber”. He honorably served in the Army Reserves and was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Port Orange. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 57 years, Mary Ann; sons, Michael Anthony (Lisa), and Mark Jude; bothers: John, Casper, Joseph and Frank; sisters: Antoinette Cox and Clair Puzzo and 5 grandchildren. He was predeceased by 3 sisters. Funeral Services will be held at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church at a later date.
