Moira Johnson

Moira Beatrice Johnson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, after a courageous ten-year battle with ovarian cancer. She faced this relentless disease with extraordinary grace and resilience, choosing not to be defined by it, but to embrace and celebrate life with unwavering joy and love.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Tom Johnson; her children, Meghan Granger (AJ) and Ryan Johnson; and her treasured grandsons, Jackson and Jameson Granger. She also leaves behind her brother Bob McMullan (Kat), her sisters Darra Van Alstyne (Ron) and Tammy Faust (David Floyd), and a large, loving family of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Born in Budd Lake, New Jersey, Moira was a Florida girl at heart. She grew up in the sunshine and sea breezes of Fort Lauderdale and Jensen Beach, where she cherished evenings around bonfires, dancing under the stars, and spending time with friends. She and Tom later raised their family in Port Orange, Florida, where she loved being closer to her extended family and sharing in the everyday joys of togetherness.

Moira found immense joy in cheering on her grandsons, Jackson and Jameson Granger, at their ball games—those moments were among her happiest. She and her husband Tom shared a love for adventure, whether riding around in their beloved Jeep, Bumble, or exploring the Caribbean and Alaska together on cruises.

She now joins her parents, Robert and Beatrice McMullan, who preceded her in death and surely welcomed her with open arms—alongside her beloved dogs Sundae, Winnie, and Lucky, who are no doubt wagging their tails in joyful reunion.

Moira’s legacy is one of love, courage, and celebration—a life lived fully, even in the hardest of times. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 4th. Specific details will be forthcoming.
