Richard L Tutson Sr.

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Richard L. Tutson Sr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and dedicated military veteran, who peacefully left us at the age of 82 on Tuesday, January 28, 2025.

Born on Saturday, November 14, 1942, in Bronx, New York. Richard L. Tutson Sr. proudly served in the United States Army. Upon his honorable discharge from the United States Army, he began his lifelong career in the medical field, helping others. Whether providing comfort in times of need or offering a listening ear, Richard spent his career helping others, leaving a lasting impact on all those whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his loving wife, Claudia Tutson, with whom he shared fifteen years of marriage. He was the proud father of five children: Jamel Walker, Richard L. Tutson Jr., Sedrick Dwayne Tutson, Michael Tutson, and James Christopher Tutson. Richard is also a cherished brother, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Richard L. Tutson Sr. was a man of integrity, strength, and kindness who will be remembered for his service to his country and his tireless dedication to caring for others. He leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and compassion. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
