Rosemary R Whitley

Rosemary R. Whitley, 87, of Port Orange, passed peacefully from this life on November 19, 2014. Rosemary was preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank Whitley. Left behind to continue her memory are her devoted children: Michael Mura (Emma), Patricia Russo (Dan), and Theresa Spurlin (John); her loving grandchildren Joey Mura (Natalie), Kimberly Oppermann (Kevin), and Jennifer Spurlin as well as her caring great-grandchildren Kade and June. She also leaves behind her sister Cecilia McGill (Danny) and many nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation is scheduled from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with a vigil prayer at 7:00 P.M. on Sunday November 23, 2014 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home located at 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange, FL 32129. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 8:30 A.M. on Monday November 24, 2014 at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, located at 4675 S Clyde Morris Blvd, Port Orange, FL 32129, with an entombment to follow at Volusia Memorial Park, located at 550 N. Nova Road, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. In lieu of flowers Rosemary’s family ask that memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice.
