Thomas Patrick McGuire Sr.

Thomas P. McGuire, Sr., 95 of Ponce Inlet was peacefully taken into the arms of the Lord on January 2, 2014. Tom was past president of Flair Air Conditioning and was actively involved in the State Air Conditioning Contractors Association of which he also was past president. He served in the Armed Forces with the Army. Mr. McGuire was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and very active with the Knights of Columbus. Sir Knight Thomas McGuire, Sr. was Past Faithful Navigator with the Knights of Columbus and former Color Corp Commander. He also was past member for many years of the Volusia Home Builders Association where he was inducted into their Hall of Fame for his dedication and hard work. Mr. McGuire also was a lifetime Spike Member of the National Home Builders Association. He was a member of the Irish American Club, past member of Rotary and the Daytona Beach Elks. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, four daughters, one son, sixteen grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren. There will be a viewing Thursday January 9 from 4pm - 6pm at the Chapel of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach. Funeral Mass will be 11 am Friday January 10 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
